We're Dorothy and Brett, and we designed and built this luxury mountain home in 2021 as a place where family and friends could gather to make unforgettable memories. We fell in love with Big Sky and poured our hearts into every detail of this home. We're thrilled to share it with you and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

The Home

Swift Bear House is a spacious 7-bedroom, 6.5-bath luxury home situated on 1.5 private acres in Big Sky's exclusive Cascade neighborhood.

One of our favorite features—and what sold us on this lot—is the breathtaking, unobstructed view of Lone Peak. Four bedrooms, along with the kitchen, dining room, great room, hot tub, and outdoor living space, all enjoy these incredible mountain views. It's something we never get tired of, and we think you won't either.

The home comfortably accommodates up to 20 guests, making it ideal for multiple families, ski trips, reunions, or corporate retreats.

The bonus suite is perfect for grandparents, an au pair or nanny, another family, teenagers, or anyone wanting a little extra privacy.

 

Ski-In / Ski-Out Information

Swift Bear House is located in the highly desirable Cascade Subdivision, offering convenient ski-in/ski-out access while maintaining incredible privacy and panoramic views.

Please Note: Our home is not located directly on a main ski run. Like many luxury homes in Big Sky, you'll use neighborhood access trails that connect you to the mountain.

Skiing Out

A short 2-minute walk takes you to a groomed ski access trail that winds through the neighborhood and connects directly to the White Otter Lift, providing easy access to Big Sky Resort.

Skiing Home

At the end of the day:

• Follow signs toward the White Otter Lift.

• Take the Cascade Lift back to the top of the neighborhood.

• Walk up the stairs directly in front of the lift.

• Follow Beehive Basin Road and connect to Trail D.

• Trail D brings you back within just a few yards of the house.

Please note that lift schedules are determined by Big Sky Resort and are weather dependent, particularly during early season (November/early December) and late season (April).
